Delivery and Returns
At Yorkshire Dales Meat Company we deliver fresh produce throughout the UK. We will deliver either via our own fleet of vans locally or by DPD Courier Tuesday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
We do not currently deliver outside of the UK or to any two day postcodes (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight).
England, Scotland and Wales -
Orders over £50: Free* Delivery
Orders under £50: £15 Delivery charge
* For Free Delivery, the value of the transaction must total £50 or more after any promotional codes or discounts are applied.
The exact delivery charges will be calculated at checkout when you input your delivery address and postcode.
We appreciate that you will want to know when your order will arrive. We will keep you updated with that information via email.
You do not need to be at home when the delivery is made. Please leave details of a ‘safe place’ to leave the delivery when you checkout in the event that no one is around to take receipt of your order.
Your delivery will arrive in a special Stay-Chilled insulated box, which means an unopened consignment is chill test safe for up to 48 hours.
It is important that all meat products should be refrigerated as soon as you open your consignment.
From time to time deliveries may take an additional day due to seasonal variations or volume. If you are ordering for a gift or a special occasion we advise you allow an extra 24 hours when you place your order.
Alternatively you are able to Click & Collect (Tuesday to Friday) from our premises, at Yorkshire Dales Meat Company, Hackforth, Bedale, North Yorkshire, DL8 1FN.
DPD are aware of the perishable nature of our consignments and we ask that you never alter the delivery day direct with them.
You will be provided with a Tracking Reference for your order if being delivered via courier. Local deliveries may be made by our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
Your delivery will be packaged carefully under Temperature Controlled Conditions which will mean that the refrigeration temperature will be maintained in the unlikely event that your consignment be delayed. Our packaging has been tested for products to be delivered safely for up 48 hours after despatch.
Returns and Refunds
You must notify us of any problems with your order within 24 hours of delivery.
Unfortunately, you are unable to return any produce delivered to you. However if there is an issue with the products received we may, at our own discretion, offer you a voucher or complementary product(s) for use on future orders.
Only in exceptional circumstances will a full refund be offered.
